Hon. Polam Inspects Ongoing Constituency Projects

Hon. (Dr) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed (POLAM) recently embarked on a comprehensive tour of the three local governments in the Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency to personally inspect the progress of various Federal Government-sponsored projects that he facilitated through his office at the National Assembly.

The notable projects include:

1. The construction of four (4) classrooms at Iyamapo Grammar School in Igbeti, Olorunsogo Local Government.

2. The construction of two (2) double classrooms at ADS Primary School in Kishi, Irepo Local Government (Financed by the NDIC).

3. The construction of six (6) classrooms at Adasobo Grammar School in Kishi, Irepo Local Government (SDG project).

4. The construction of an examination hall at Kisi Community Grammar School in Kishi, Irepo Local Government.

5. The construction of an ultra-modern court hall in Igboho, Orelope Local Government.

6. The identification and preparation of the site for the new FRSC Office, strategically located opposite the Local Government Secretariat in Igboho.

During his inspection, Hon. Polam expressed satisfaction with the progress at all project sites, commending the contractors for their dedication. He also urged constituents to remain patient and cooperative with the Federal Government, emphasizing that these projects are just the beginning of many more developments aimed at delivering the dividends of democracy to the constituency.

Hon. Polam assured the constituents that additional initiatives are on the way, including another round of food palliative distributions, the provision of fertilizers and farm implements to farms, and further empowerment programs to youths and women. These initiatives are scheduled to take place before the upcoming Town Hall meeting.

These efforts complement the successful installation of street lights across various parts of the constituency, the distribution of fertilizers and farm implements, the construction of two classrooms in each LGA, food palliative distributions (including Rice, Garri and other food items), and empowerment programs for women, widows, and youths.

Additionally, scholarships have been awarded to twenty (20) students to pursue various courses, and Hon. Polam has facilitated the appointment of 38 constituents to Federal Government jobs. He has also distributed over 200 JAMB forms to students, donated vehicles to the KPU Security Trust Fund, the Office of Olori Onigbeti, and Igbeti United Workers, among many other achievements—all within just one year in office.

Hon. Polam remains steadfast in his commitment to bringing transformative capital projects and empowerment initiatives that will foster economic growth, create job opportunities, and provide much-needed relief to the people of Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency.
