In a prestigious ceremony held today at the National Assembly, Hon. (Dr.) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed, an esteemed House of Representatives Member for Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, was honoured with an Award of Excellence as an Icon of Integrity by the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association. The award, presented in recognition of his commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership, underscores his dedication to promoting good governance both in his constituency and on a national level.
The presentation, which took place in Hon. Olaide Mohammed’s office, was attended by key officials of the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, aides, and supporters who gathered to celebrate his exemplary leadership and anti-corruption efforts.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. (Dr.) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed said:
“I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition as an Icon of Integrity from such a reputable organization as the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association. Integrity is the cornerstone of leadership, and it is the guiding principle by which I have always conducted myself, both in public service and in my private life. We must continue to uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability in all areas of governance to build a Nigeria that works for everyone.”
He continued, “I accept this award on behalf of the people of Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, whose trust and confidence in my leadership have been my greatest motivation. This award is a reminder that we are all stewards of public office, and it is our duty to serve with honesty and dedication. I also commend the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association for their consistent efforts in promoting integrity and good governance across the country. Together, we must continue to fight against corruption and build a better future for our nation.”
The Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association commended Hon (Dr) Prince Olaide Mohammed for his outstanding contributions to nation-building, his principled leadership, and his dedication to the welfare of his constituents. They noted that his consistent efforts to promote anti-corruption values, both in his legislative duties and in his personal engagements, have made him a worthy recipient of the Icon of Integrity award.
