In a heartwarming reunion, Hon. Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed (Polam), a Member of the House of Representatives, warmly welcomed Rtd. Julius Asom, former FRSC Cooperative Chairman and a trusted ally from the past, to his office at the National Assembly earlier this week.
Julius Asom, who served as the FRSC Cooperative Chairman in 2003 during Hon. Polam’s tenure as the Secretary, shared a strong professional bond with him. Additionally, Asom held significant positions within the FRSC, including being the Principal Staff Officer to the Corps Marshal during the reign of Gen Hananiya, as well as serving as the SA to the Corps Marshal during the reigns of Osita Chidoka and Bob Oye Oteyemi.
The purpose of Asom’s visit was to reconnect, reminisce about their past collaborations, and offer valuable advice and encouragement to Hon. Polam in his current role as a legislator. The exchange was not only a trip down memory lane but also an opportunity to discuss the progress and challenges faced by the FRSC and explore potential avenues for further collaboration in the future.
This meeting serves as a testament to the enduring relationships forged during years of dedicated service and underscores the importance of mentorship and guidance in navigating the diverse landscape of public service. The camaraderie displayed during the visit reflects the strength of bonds formed within the FRSC, highlighting the invaluable nature of collaborative efforts in promoting national development and progress.
