Hon. Polam Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Urges Nigerians to Embrace Sacrifice and Unity

Nigeria Police Commission

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I extend my warmest greetings to all Muslims in Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and across Nigeria as we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha. This sacred occasion offers us a profound opportunity to reflect on the submission of Prophet Ibrahim Alaihis-Salam to the will of Allah. His example teaches us the immense value of sacrifice, not just in our devotion to Allah, but also in our relationships with one another.

Let us imbibe this lesson wholeheartedly and make it our duty to sacrifice for others, always remembering those who are less fortunate than ourselves. In a time when selfishness, greed, and corruption threaten our unity and progress, we must reject these vices and embrace the virtues of selflessness, generosity, and integrity in all our dealings.

On this blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I urge all Nigerians to rise above personal, group, sectarian, and other narrow interests. Let us promote harmony and tolerance, fostering a spirit of unity and understanding in our interactions at all times.

I felicitate with all Nigerians, particularly our Muslim faithful, on this year’s celebration. May this Eid bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all homes. I assure you that the National Assembly, of which I am a part, will continue to work tirelessly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to bring lasting peace, economic prosperity, food abundance, and security to our dear country.

Eid Mubarak! A o sodun ayo o.
