Today, as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings to each and every one of you. This day marks a significant milestone in our nation’s history, reminding us of the importance of democracy, freedom, and the collective will of the people. I understand that many of us are facing economic hardships and inflation, which have brought about significant challenges. However, I want to assure you that relief is on the way. Our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, is diligently working on various policies aimed at providing solace and economic stability to all Nigerians. As your representative at the National Assembly, I, along with my fellow lawmakers, am fully committed to supporting the President’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.” This agenda is designed to foster peace, harmony, and economic prosperity across our great nation. We are actively engaged in legislative efforts that will complement these policies and bring about the much-needed changes to improve our standard of living. (Dr) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed’s second legislative initiative endeavors to amend the Federal Medical Centres (Establishment) Act of 2022 to institute a Federal Medical Centre in Igboho, Oyo State. This center envisages delivering holistic healthcare services, ranging from basic check-ups to advanced treatments to the Old Irepo Constituents Envisaged Advantages Post-Enactment: Provision of a wide range of medical services, guaranteeing seamless access to healthcare, ranging from routine health checks to advanced therapeutic interventions for residents of Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency. Deployment of modern medical technology to provide high-quality healthcare services, including diagnostics, specialized treatments, and emergency care. Enhancing of early disease detection and treatment avenues, thereby bolstering community well-being. Third Bill: Proposing the Establishment of Federal College of Agriculture in Igbeti, Oyo State, 2024 The third legislative proposal advanced by Hon. (Dr) Olaide Mohammed seeks to amend the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria Act, Cap. A12, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, to establish the Federal College of Agriculture in Igbeti, Oyo State. Polam’s proactive intervention seeks to provide tangible relief to families grappling with rising living costs. Hon. Polam Extends Warm Welcome to Defectors from PDP and Others in Irepo

Hon. (Dr.) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed (Polam) graciously welcomed thousands of party members from the PDP, APP, and Accord Party who decided to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). He encouraged them to collaborate diligently with APC leaders and members to ensure victory for the party in the upcoming Local Government Election scheduled for April 27, 2024. In his address, Hon. Polam emphasized the importance of supporting all APC candidates across the ten wards and urged everyone to vote overwhelmingly on election day. He reaffirmed the principle of equality within the party and extended congratulations to the party chairman for his leadership efforts. During the 1st general meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held on March 10, 2024, at Kishi Main Roundabout, APC Chairman, Hon. Mashood Ajana, alongside party leaders, warmly received the multitude of defectors. The meeting also marked the official unveiling of APC Chairman Candidate, Hon. Alh. Abdulsalam Abdulfatai (Baba Porta), Vice Chairman Candidate, Hon. Alh. Abdulrasak Shittu Okoka, and ten Councillors from each ward in Irepo Local Government.
